Key Policy Issues, Planning and Organization Officer
Alexander Fuchs is currently working as the key policy issues, planning and organization officer at the
Berlin Sport Confederation (Landessportbund Berlin). The 35 year old is a Master of Science in sports
and political sciences, educated at Westphalian-Wilhelms University Münster and Christian-
Albrechts-University Kiel.

From 2017 on, Fuchs worked for Special Olympics Germany and organized their National Summer
Games in Kiel 2018 as the Senior Office Manager and Head of Strategic Development. After
successfully running the Summer Games in Kiel, he changed his perspectives end of 2018 and joined
Berlin Sport Confederation. In his position, he is responsible for all questions concerning key policy
issues like eSports, volunteering in sports, international partnerships and sports politics.
Furthermore, he organizes the biggest grassroots sports event in Berlin, the annual Family Sports
Festival at Berlin Olympic Park (held at the beginning of August 2019).
