Annett Chojnacki-Bennemann studied law in Jena and Krakow. During her legal clerkship she discovered her enthusiasm for sports and completed her further education in sports law.
Since November 2014, she has headed the Berlin office of the Deutscher Behindertensportverband e.V. and is responsible for the association's political communication. Prior to this, she has been working for four years as a sports policy officer in the German Bundestag. Parallel to her main professional activities, she completed the part-time master's programme "Olympic Studies" at the German Sports University in Cologne, focusing on paralympic issues. She is married and has a son.
